Policy Advisory Committee

The Policy Advisory Committee at Rose Park Primary School plays a key role in supporting the Governing Council by acting as a vital connection between the school and families to enhance student learning and school planning.

The committee represents the diverse perspectives within the school community, ensuring that its cultural, social, and educational needs are integrated into the school’s strategy and implementation. By actively engaging with the school community, the committee is dedicated to fostering the best possible outcomes for all students.

The primary goals of the committee are to:

    • Assist school staff with strategy planning and implementation
    • Assist school staff with policy development and review
    • Seek school community views and develop recommendations for the committee & Governing Council
    • Ensure all policies, strategies and plans are accessible for school community

Through a collaborative approach with staff, students and families, the Policy Advisory Committee supports Rose Park Primary’s mission to maintain an inclusive, high-quality learning environment that meets the expectations of both the school community and the Department for Education.
