Learning
Our mission is to inspire quality teaching and learning through developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring citizens of the world.
Rose Park Primary School (RPPS) is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and provides a comprehensive curriculum based on the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Australian and South Australian Curriculum. A significant feature of our teaching and learning are our Specialist Programs which operate for all classes on a weekly basis, consisting of lessons in Physical Education, Performing Arts (Music, Dance, Drama), Japanese, Science, and Technologies.
Bringing technology into the classroom has been shown to be a successful way to promote creative thinking, communication, and collaboration. RPPS uses Google Apps for Education (GSuite) from Years 4-6 within the school Chromebook program.
In addition, we provide an extensive range of extra-curricular activities to enrich and engage student leadership initiatives. Aligned with the Department for Education South Australia’s Strategic Plan, Rose Park Primary School actively incorporates key areas of impact to promote wellbeing, learner agency, effective learners and equity and excellence.
